Do not focus too much on UX which can result in a drop in rankings and traffic nor does not put too much focus on optimisation and not experience as this will increase your bounce rate but hinder user engagement.

Suffice it to say, make sure your SEO staff and UX team work together to find the balance that results in increased traffic and conversions.
